Magnolia Silver Technology is produced from a special polymeric compound, the Active NanoSilver Antibacterial Polymer (ANSAP?).
The ANSAP polymer contains silver in the form of nanoparticles to a size of 10-100 nm (1 nm = 1.10-9 m) and has a microscopic structure, permitting the free migration of silver nanoparticles in the washing solution.
The Magnolia Silver technology is based on the unique features acquired by silver under the form of particles of the size of 1 – 100 nm. In this state it has an exceptionally well developed surface of which enormous quantities of silver cations are released (Ag+). The anti-bacterial action of the silver is due to the attraction between the silver cation (Ag+) to the vital enzymes of the micro organisms. Via their positive charge the silver ions connect with the sulphydrilic groups of such enzymes thus blocking their resistance to the silver. Scientific research has indicated this specific efficiency of silver in relation to over 650 different types of micro organisms.
